Group Fast, Awareness and Protest Action, Breaking-Fast Dinner in Taipei
集體禁食、宣傳與抗議行動、在台北擧行開齋晚宴
Taipei, Taiwan – In solidarity with the people of Gaza, the Taiwan Olive Branch Collective and the Taipei Grand Mosque are joining the global #FastforGaza campaign. This peaceful action is part of a growing international movement calling for urgent, scaled-up humanitarian aid access to Gaza and an end to the ongoing genocide.
【台灣台北】爲聲援加薩人民，台灣橄欖枝和平網絡和台北淸眞寺加入全球 #爲加薩禁食 運動。這項和平行動是日益壯大的國際運動的一部份，該運動呼籲緊急擴大人道主義援助進入加薩，並結束正在進行的種族滅絕。
Participants in Taiwan are invited to join a 24-hour fast (or any duration that is personally manageable) starting Saturday evening, June 7. The campaign encourages individuals to fast from wherever they are, take part in digital advocacy, and contribute to the growing global call for justice and peace in Palestine.
台灣的參與受邀參加從六月七日星期六晚上開始的廿四小時禁食（或任何個人可承受的時長）。該運動鼓勵個人無論身在何處都能禁食，參與數位倡議，並爲全球日益高漲的巴勒斯坦正義與和平呼聲貢獻力量。
Taiwan Olive Branch Collective was started this year to engage Christians to reject Christian Zionism and support the call to end genocide in Gaza. It organized a 41 km pilgrimage across northern Taiwan, the length of the Gaza Strip.
台灣橄欖枝和平網絡成立於今年，旨在號召基督徒抵制基督敎猶太復國主義，並支持結束加薩種族滅絕的呼籲。它組織了一次橫跨台灣北部，四十一公里——加薩走廊全長——的朝聖之旅。
The Taipei Grand Mosque in Da’an Taipei has been organizing donations and support for the Palestinians who have experienced enormous suffering since 2023. They enthusiastically stepped up to support the fast and host the iftar (fast-breaking) meal.
位於台北大安區的台北淸眞寺自二〇二三年以來一直爲飽受苦難的巴勒斯坦人組織捐款和支持。他們熱情地支持此次禁食並擧辦開齋晚宴。
The fast weekend coincides with the Muslim community’s observance of Eid al-Adha (Sacrifice Festival), 6/6-6/9, which also promotes the virtue of sharing. Therefore, they are providing a meal for fasting participants and are encouraging their community to join in.
禁食的週末恰逢穆斯林社區的宰牲節（六月六日至九日），該節日也提倡分享的美德。因此，他們爲禁食參與者提供餐食，並鼓勵社區居民參與。

Participants have been encouraged to share a photo and message on social media with the hashtag #FastforGaza and include a link to a mutual aid organization supporting Gaza.
